Prof. Tatjana Gric, coordinator of COST Action CA23125 - TETRA (The mETamaterial foRmalism approach to recognize cAncer) project, has been honored with the "Best Session Organizer Award" at the META 2025 conference.
This inaugural award was introduced to recognize session organizers who play a pivotal role in the conference's success and impact. Among all sessions evaluated by the META Award Committee, three awards were selected based on criteria including session relevance, participant engagement, organization quality, and overall impact.
Prof. Tatjana Gric from Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Lithuania) earned this prestigious recognition for organizing the session titled "Metamaterials: novel trends and applications."
The award ceremony will take place during the conference banquet, where the winning session organizers will be presented with cash prizes, certificates of recognition, and complimentary banquet tickets. The complete list of award recipients will be published on the META conference website.
This achievement represents international recognition of the TETRA project's pioneering work in the metamaterials field and Prof. Gric's outstanding academic leadership in advancing metamaterial research for cancer detection applications.
